Bob Marton
Bob Marton is Cronos' Manager of Technical Services. His role is to develop, implement and maintain secure and reliable computer networks and hardware for our clients.
Bob has expert level skills with most aspects of computer networks and Internet based computer systems He is intimately familiar with Windows based operating systems, Internet Information Server, Exchange and other Microsoft products.
Bob brings strong security related skills to our team and he can configure routers, remote access, VPN and other wide area networking technologies. Bob is well qualified to lock down networks so that they are largely invulnerable to outside attack.
Bob has a computer hardware and electronics background. His trouble-shooting skills are second to none. He can quickly and effectively resolve networking, computer hardware or software related issues.
Bob's formal education was in electronics at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. More recently he bolstered his extensive hands on experience by acquiring numerous certifications including MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCDBA, CCNA, Comptia A+. These were achieved by completing Microsoft based training programs that included Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, Systems Professional and Database Administrator. He also updated his network routing skill by completing the Cisco Certified Network exams.
Bob is a music aficionado and loves guitars. He has a black belt in Karate and plays lead guitar in a rock and roll band.
