How Much Will it Cost?

Cronos' charges for services by the hour.  Our Soho rates are competitive and vary from $65 to $95 per hour depending on the skills and services required.

How Long Will it Take?

That very much depends on the job.  Smaller items are often dealt with quickly,  some in a matter 10-15 minutes.  Larger, more challenging jobs take longer.

Can You Provide Remote Support?

Many modern computers can be configured to be operated remotely using the Internet and special software.  When this type of support is appropriate,  we can set this up for you to help minimize your costs and site visits.

My Windows computer has slowed down and is crashing a lot.  Can you fix it?

Some Windows operating systems have design flaws that cause them to slow down over time.  If you have a newer computer we have solutions that will resolve most problems.  If your computer is older computer,  it is best to replace it.

I'm not sure if my Antivirus program is working.  What should I do?

Antivirus protection is essential.  What would happen to your reputation if you sent all your client's a virus.  Two options:
1)    If you want to try yourself,  check with your Antivirus software provider.  They may be able to help you at little or no cost except for your time.   
2)    If you need assistance we can install,  check and correct or confirm that you have adequate antivirus protection. 

I keep getting warnings from the Internet about being watched, or broadcasting my address.  Should I take those seriously.

Security is important and you need a secure system if you spend time on the Internet. But these warning are just trying to scare you into buying something you don't need.

When my computer asks me to download and install software should I do it?

You should never install software on your computer unless you are absolutely sure you need it.   Today,  the less software you have on your computer the better it will work.  You should refuse to install any software unless you are very sure that you need it.

I want to set up a network can you help?

Yes,  Cronos consultants are very experienced with local area networks.  We can setup LAN using a server or just connecting work stations.  We can setup wireless networks or a combination.

I need to connect to the Internet for Email and Web Access.  Can you help?

Yes,  Cronos has connected many home businesses to the Internet.  We are experts with Firewalls and making your network secure from hackers.  We have worked with all the major service providers.  We are experts with many email systems and can configure your computers for you.
