Neil Martin

Born in Toronto, and raised in South America. 100% fluent in Spanish.  

In 1999 returned to Canada and immediately enrolled in University of Winnipeg. Developed an ever increasing interest in computers over the next few years and moved into the U of W Division Of Continuing Education. He completed the Windows 2000 Server Administration program in 2004. Neil continued to pursue technical knowledge via CDI College, and quickly achieved A+ Certification in 2005 and MCP Certification in 2007. Neil is also studying to get MCSE Certification in his free time.  

Neil gained considerable experience in the oil sands industry in Fort McMurray Alberta where he worked as Network Analyst and Onsite Technical Support for 350+ users and computers on the Shell network. Neil completed 2 major projects upgrading all network printers and PCs to “Vista Ready” status over the course of 2 years on schedule and on budget. Neil is comfortable working in fast paced – high stress environments and under tight deadlines. He brings strong hardware support skills for desktops, laptops, printers and servers combined with solid understanding of connectivity and security constraints across interconnected global networks via Ethernet, Wireless, VPN, Remote Desktop, and others. Recently moved to White Rock seeking new challenges and opportunities to develop new skills and contribute to the realization of company goals, one user at a time.
