Can you help me install a LAN for my company.

Can you help us find a business/accounting system for our company?

Yes,  Cronos has installed and supported many of the more popular business systems.

Can you interface our accounting system with our productions system?

Yes,  Cronos can build software interfaces between business systems.

We are having problems with the computers on our local area network.  Can you help us fix them?

Yes.  We provide Information Technology services for many corporations. We can help your company as well.

Do you provide on site services?

Yes,  Cronos consultants will work from your offices.

What is your response time?

We normally respond to your phone calls immediately.  Our maximum time to get back to you is 1 hour.  

In an emergency situations,  for example if your entire LAN is disabled,  we will dispatch a technician immediately.  In rare occasions,  this may mean that we have to defer a lower  priority job.

 

 Do you sell computer hardware?

No.  We are not aligned with any hardware suppliers. We are however, well positioned to provide independent advise about selecting, acquiring and installing the most appropriate computers equipment for your needs.

 

What is your level of expertise with Microsoft based  computers?

Excellent.  We are intimately familiar with the internal workings of Microsoft Windows based operating systems and networking components.  Our staff has network certifications from Microsoft.

 

Can you setup and/or maintain Email systems for us?

Can you service Apple computer systems?

No.

 

Do you work on Novell based LAN?

Yes.  Our technicians have installed and maintained Novell based network software.  We can resolve many connectivity and configuration issues related to Novell, however it is not our primary focus.

 

Can you service Linux based servers?

We have installed,  replaced and enhanced computer software on Linux based computers,  but it is not our primary focus.  If you need help with Linux based issues we will analyze the issue and if necessary bring on appropriate expertise. 

 

Can you help us determine if our security systems are appropriate?

Yes.  We are familiar with computer system security and can advise you about the security required and help you implement appropriate safeguards.

Why do we need to worry about computer security?  

The Internet is a huge wide area network,  that inter-connects a significant portion of the world's computers.  At the time the Internet was designed the priority was to make it easy to connect computers together and security was a lesser priority.  

Some of the people using the Internet are vandals.  Some are bored rascals and some are state or terrorist sponsored hackers.  These people try continuously to break into and disrupt  your computer systems.  

We are amazed at the number of break in attempts reported by Firewall's we have installed.  Your LAN is being probed for weaknesses frequently.

If you store information that is important to your organization on your computers,  you need to protect those computers from vandals.
